Welcome to Japan Junket ("we," "our," or "us"). Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website and services.
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Scope of Services
Japan Junket provides travel consultation and personal travel planning services. We offer expert guidance and assistance in planning and organizing your travel experiences. This includes providing recommendations, itineraries, and travel-related information.
Guidance and recommendations offered by Japan Junket are for your convenience, and you acknowledge that acting on these recommendations is at your own risk.
Our services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.
2. User Eligibility
By using our website and services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms of Service.
3. Privacy
We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is protected by intellectual property rights owned by [Japan Junket] or our licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from our website without our prior written consent.
5. Affiliate Disclosure
Japan Junket itineraries may include affiliate links. This means Japan Junket may earn a commission from some bookings (such as hotels or select services) linked within the itinerary, at no additional cost to the Customer.
Recommendations are not influenced or limited by affiliate partnerships.

6. Service Availability
All services are subject to availability.
Japan Junket reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of its services at any time.
7. Payment
Payment details are collected securely, and payment processing will be handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store your payment information.
Payment policies vary by service. We will provide information about our payment policy at the time of booking. Failure to pay within the specified time frame may result in cancellation of services.
8. Deposits & Itinerary Build Slots
A $100 AUD holding deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure the Customer’s itinerary build slot. Japan Junket will then issue an invoice for the remaining portion of the 50% deposit, less the $100 already paid.
Payment of this invoice is due three (3) business days prior to the scheduled build start date.
If payment of the remaining balance is not received by the due date stated on the invoice, the reserved itinerary build slot will be released and the holding deposit will be non-refundable.
9. Delivery Timeframes
Draft itineraries will be supplied within 7–14 days from the commencement of works, unless otherwise stated.
Subsequent revisions or finalised itineraries will be supplied within 7 days following receipt of requested changes.
Delivery timeframes are contingent upon the availability of both Japan Junket and the Customer for consultations, feedback, and approvals.
Online itineraries will be deactivated two (2) weeks after the final date of travel.
10. Final Payment
The remaining 50% balance for services is due on the earlier of:
30 days after the Customer deems the itinerary satisfactory, defined as any of the following:
The Customer confirms no further changes are required
No change requests are received within 30 days of the last revision
The Customer proceeds with bookings relating to the itinerary
OR
Two (2) weeks prior to the Customer’s scheduled travel date.
Failure to submit final payment within the specified timeframe may result in suspension or cancellation of services, subject to the cancellation terms outlined below.
11. Completion of Services
The contractual relationship between Japan Junket and the Customer is deemed concluded upon the earlier of:
Receipt of the final 50% payment, or
The itinerary being deemed finalised by one of the means outlined in Section 6, including but not limited to:
The Customer expressly confirming that no further adjustments are required
No further adjustment requests being received within 30 days of the last revision
The Customer securing bookings (such as flights, accommodations, activities, or other reservations) in relation to the itinerary
At this point, the services are considered fully delivered, and no further obligations or responsibilities are owed by either party unless otherwise stated in these Terms & Conditions.
12. Post-Completion Changes
Any alterations or additions requested after conclusion of the contract will incur a fee of $46 AUD per day of travel affected.
This fee covers additional consultation, planning, and re-working.
Payment must be agreed and received before additional work commences.
13. Travel Consultancy Cancellation Policy
(“Full Package” & “Advice for DIYers”)
More than one (1) business day prior to the build start date:
→ Full refund
Less than one (1) business day prior to the build start date AND prior to itinerary finalisation: The itinerary being deemed finalised by one of the means outlined in Section 6, including but not limited to:
Final 50% payment received
The Customer expressly confirming that no further adjustments are required
No further adjustment requests being received within 30 days of the last revision
The Customer securing bookings (such as flights, accommodations, activities, or other reservations) in relation to the itinerary
→ 50% deposit forfeited
After an itinerary is deemed finalised by any of the following:
Final 50% payment received
The Customer expressly confirming that no further adjustments are required
No further adjustment requests being received within 30 days of the last revision
The Customer securing bookings (such as flights, accommodations, activities, or other reservations) in relation to the itinerary
→ Not eligible for a refund
In the event of a no-show (holding deposit is paid but payment of the remaining despot balance is not received by the build start date) the reserved build slot will be forfeited and the $100 holding deposit is non-refundable.
Deposits for expedited or urgent delivery requests are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Japan Junket reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of suspected abuse of this policy.
14. Third-Party Bookings & Cancellations
Where Japan Junket makes bookings on behalf of the Customer, those bookings are subject to the terms and cancellation policies of the third-party provider.
Cancellation Notice Requirement
Cancellation instructions must be received by Japan Junket at least 24 hours (within business hours, 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday) before the end of the provider’s cancellation window.
Cancellations received outside this timeframe cannot be guaranteed a refund, even if the provider’s cancellation window has not yet expired.
15. Quality of Service & Remedies
Japan Junket provides services with due care and skill.
If the Customer is dissatisfied, they must contact Japan Junket promptly to allow an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Remedies may include:
Re-service at no additional cost
Refund of equivalent re-service costs, where re-service is not feasible
Disputes relating to third-party providers must be resolved directly with the provider.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the [Arbitration Association of Australia], and judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
17. Limitation of Liability
Japan Junket makes no warranties regarding the completeness or accuracy of third-party information.
To the extent permitted by law, Japan Junket is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of its services.
Japan Junket acts solely as an intermediary when facilitating third-party bookings and assumes no liability for the acts, omissions, or terms of those providers.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and understanding all third-party terms and conditions.
18. Changes to Terms of Service
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated terms will be posted on our website with the revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes to the terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
